That sets a nasty precedent to change that definition. Not having a problem with that is dangerous ground.īefore BL2 ganked their players, "season pass" meant "All the game's DLC". The only things that weren't that absolutely should have been a part of it are the vault hunter upgrades. I don't have an issue with the season pass only including the things that it was advertised to include when they decide to create more stuff. Beyond that, the high potentiality of Golden Keys being repurposed into "premium currency" for their loot box (and the attendant changes to drop quality that comes with trying to push players into buying) gambling mechanic keeps me from getting excited about game. TPS was bland enough to shift me from being willing to pre-order to support them and A:CM shifted me into the position of if it's a great game and only then when I get around to it (probably on sale as a GotY). A simple "my bad" wouldn't have actually fixed anything but would have shown they had at least some character.
#Bl tps defend jailbreaker full
The pure MP hero shooter arena (no pun intended) is simply too full to allow for too many more to be successful (though, it's not like that's ever stopped a big devs from churning out slop into the overfull bucket in the hopes that they get a bit of that popularity rubbed onto them).Īs for A:CM, the worst part is that they barely even worked on it* and then defended that trash. Totally agree they should focus their hero shooter aspirations on Borderlands. Now the latter definitely abused the consumer with those fake gameplay trailers. Once they get over that hurdle they can avoid making another Battleborn (not a bad game just poorly received) or Aliens Colonial Marines (garbage). All additional content is optional and had no impact on the main game. That's life.not everything is done specifically for each individual consumer. I had shabu shabu with the wife the other night. Sounds like you got some enjoyment out of it. I mean lets see, how many hours did you play and how much did you get? I purchased BL2 3 times and I had no problem with it because I got so much enjoyment out of the game. I would hardly consider any of what occurred in BL1 or BL2 consumer abuse. It is sad when a company goes full greed. I absolutely loved BL 1 (until they started patching out the fun). When you advertise "A bazillion guns" you should be able to get at least 1 good one without handing over more money for keys or checking their posts daily to open their stupid box. This also helped get me off of season passes which moved from great idea to customer abuse real fast in the industry.īugs that they were never willing to fix, like player 2 keeping their XP but permanently losing all their perks when you turn off the console. "Season pass" that didn't include all the released content "Give us more money!", not to mention most of the content it included was phoned in. After the horrific consumer abuse of Borderlands 2 I will no longer buy games from them.
